鎮門宮是一座矗立在鹿耳門溪口旁的小宮廟，外觀仿明式建築，面對著府城天險石碑，是主祀開台英雄鄭成功的一座宮廟。此處有個全台灣唯一的特色，就是有兩位「赤腳西洋門神」，為何會有西洋門神，其實只是繪師林中信的一個想法，他認為鄭成功打敗荷蘭人，就應該由荷蘭人來服侍，在他的想像中，當時荷蘭人落敗而逃，連鞋子掉了也來不及穿，所以就沒有畫上鞋子。
Zhenmen Temple is a small temple standing next to the mouth of the Luermen River, with a Ming-style exterior and facing the Fucheng Tianxian Stone Tablet. The distinct feature of this temple is that there are two "barefoot Western guardian gods." This was an idea of artist Lin Chung Hsin. In his imagination, the Dutch were defeated and fled, so they did not even have time to put on their shoes.
