This building has been registered as a historical building. The wooden building right in front of the Tourist Service Center is an old raw material district office that was moved in 1948 (Republic of China 37). The date of its creation before the move cannot be found.
The corners of the building are control walls (wall-shaped diagonal bracing nailed with rain panels). The appearance of this building is the western style of the time, especially the western rain panels are different from the traditional Japanese wooden construction method.
