The repair factory was built in 1972 in pitched roof structure. Its east side is the mechanical repair factory, one of the most important factories of the sugar factory. The mechanical equipments used by the sugar factory are most made in the western countries such as United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States. Therefore, you need to order directly from the original factory when in need of repairing or changing parts. This takes up large amount of time and the sugar production must stop to wait for the repairing which is overseas. Hence, by establishing repairing factory machines could be repaired and easy components could be made. HuaLien sugar factory’s repair factory is the single building on the east side, also as steel structure and iron sheet building. The model of the interior processing smelter is still there and worth preserved.
