（Sugar factory-2： Molasses tank) was built in 1975 and 1984 and was constructed in metal. The molasses tank of Kuangfu sugar factory is a special storage place for molasses and is located on the left side of the ethanol factory. While the sugar factory is producing sugar, molasses that are produced at the mean time will be transported to the surrounding molasses tanks using conveyor tube and trucks. Molasses is the part of the sugar production that is unable to crystallize, such as fructose, glucose, and mineral substance. Taiwan Sugar Corporation produces edible and inedible molasses and their fabricated products are quite multi-variant. They could be used in producing ethanol, key ingredients of livestock fodder, yeast powder, MSG,, jiansutang, soy sauce, etc.
