Taitung Sugar Industry Cultural Heritage Museum was originally a sugar warehouse in Taitung Sugar Factory that was built in 1931. In December 2004, it was renovated into “Taitung Sugar Industry Cultural Heritage Museum” and was officially opened to the public on April 22, 2006.
Sugar manufacturing machineries, examination tools, administrative items, and old sugar industry photos on sugar cane field development, leveling, sugar cane planting, sugar cane harvesting, transportation, and sugar manufacturing procedure are displayed here.
