Hualien Sugar Factory’s Cultural Exhibition Room was founded on February 7, 2007. Since its opening, this exhibition room has been opened all-year-round with colleagues, retired employees, and family members of employees on duty providing services to visitors.
Besides explanations of tour guides, videos on the history of Hualien Sugar Factory, sugar manufacturing, and ecological control – Trichogramma Wasp will also be played here. With the display of items in Hualien Sugar Factory’s Cultural Exhibition Room, it enables visitors to understand the development and history of Taiwan’s sugar industry, the sugar manufacturing culture of pioneers, the tools and books that pioneers have used in their life and work, and how they overcame all obstacles to accomplish their missions.
