Nanzhou Sugar Factory is located at Nanzhou Township, Pingtung County and was founded in 1920. As the southernmost sugar factory of Taiwan, it has an abundant tropical of atmosphere. It no longer manufactures sugar nowadays and has been transformed into a more diversified Nanzhou Tourism Sugar Factory.
Visitors can reach Nanzhou Tourism Sugar Factory by car in 5 minutes after leaving Nanzhou Interchange of National Highway No. 3 and heading towards Nanzhou Township. Visitors can also take TRA trains, get off at Nanzhou Train Station and walk for about 3 minutes to reach here. Nanzhou Tourism Sugar Factory is an accessible place with no tickets required and has convenient parking spaces. It is most suitable place for family trips.
