Topic: Adventure in the Sugar Factory

Introduction:
This course mainly targets elementary school students. To meet the demand of their age, there are many handmade related contents in this course to deepen their learning motivation and impression. After a tour guide of the sugar factory, students will make a refractometer on their own to measure the brix of their daily sugared beverages, thus enabling them to know the difference of brix and sweetness.
To establish their respect towards life, students will be guided to embrace giant trees and teach them how to use easy methods to assess the height and age of trees. In addition, by touching the unique texture of tree logs, it will also inspire students’ sensitivity toward all natural matters.
