In 2012, Taiwan Sugar Corp. received a generous donation from Professor Chen Shih-meng from NTU Department of Economy on a collection of 1,300 pig-related items.
Due to the generosity of Professor Chen, the “Pig Exhibition Hall” was founded at Qiaotou Sugar Factory in Kaohsiung City to exhibit his decades of pig-related item collection to the public. Collection includes wood carved pigs from the Cou People of Alishan, and also well-made pig figures, paintings, mugs, and toys from Hawaii, Greece and Peru. A variety of items are exhibited that await your admiration.
