Former Headquarters Office of Ensuiko Sugar Refining Co., Ltd. has been designated by Tainan City Government as a city historical heritage. It was completed in 1908 during the Japanese Colonial Era and was designed based on the European classical architecture technique and art style.
It was used as an office and conference venue. After WW2, it was the office of the 4th Branch of Taiwan Sugars Corps. and was divided into the Labor Affairs Section, Agricultural Affairs Section, Transportation Section and Experiment Reformation Laboratory. It was then used as the office of Business Department and later the office of Material Section.
