Xinying Sugar Railway Cultural Park, formerly known as Xinying Sugar Factory, was once one of the 3 major factories of Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Given that it ranked higher in the hierarchy level, it has a unique office building and dormitory.
With dense railway tracks, trains can be dispatched flexibly here, making it the transportation hub of the sugar railway passenger service during its prime. Many business railway train wagons and engines are preserved in the park. Various kinds of small diesel engines are stored in the vehicle yard. Large Hitachi wagons with the track span of 1,067 mm that runs between TRA Xinying Station and Taiwan Sugar Xinying Sub-product Processing Factory used to transport various materials can also be seen here. Versatile and attractive railway routes are exhibited here.
