Many old trees could be found scattered at different corners of Suantou Sugar Factory. No matter if you are riding sugar trains, walking or riding bicycles at Zhecheng Cultural Park, you will run into these trees. Enjoy the green shades of the old trees, the memory of sugar trains, the beautiful scenes along the bikeway, and the nostalgic atmosphere of Japanese style buildings. Travel here leisurely and enjoy half-a-day of relaxation.
There are many large trees around the sugar manufacturing factory, including 2 historical and flourishing banyan trees. One of them has tree whiskers hanging from it, known as “Grandpa Tree” and the other is known as “Grandma Tree.” There is also a green fence made intertwined vines from 2 bougainvillea, creating a natural shade.
