Suantou Sugar Factory’s Cultural Museum is located as East 6 Warehouse at the right side of Chiayi Gate. It has collected more than 400 precious items on the sugar industry from Suantou, Dalin and Nanjing Factory, including collections such as literaturs, machines, and old pictures. These items were exhibited in the manufacturing sequence of agricultural farm, agricultural affair, railway transportation, labor affair, and management.
Moreover, an old traditional sugar manufacturing plant is also exhibited in the museum, presenting the process of how animal power was used to move the mill in order to squeeze sugar cane juice and boil the latter with big pots. Visitors will feel novel on the exhibited items; it is a popular attraction.
