Dalin Sugar Factory is located by Provincial Highway No. 1. Visitors can see the eye-catching century-old giant chimney of Taisugar Biotechnology Factory from a distance.
As the sugar manufacturing industry of Taiwan declined, Dalin Sugar Factory ceased to function in 1996. Its ice treat shop used to be a store for the employees of Dalin Sugar Factory, mainly selling ice treats and all sorts of Taisugar products and local agricultural souvenirs.
